Before the COVID Pandemic most people had never even heard of the TGA yet the work of the department affects every Australian in some way on a daily basis from the vitamins we take, the band-aids we put on our kids' cuts and scratches, right through to life saving therapies and implants. All of these things need to be tested to ensure they do what they're supposed to do.

I instigated hte development of the video as a means to introduce audiences to the TGA and the purpose the organisation serves to the public. Working with our writing team I drafted the script – yes, it's meant to be on the cheesy side, because we try not to take ourselves too seriously. I then developed a storyboard and shot list before colour grading scenes and animating elements that needed to be composited into scenes before editing it all together with voice over and music.

Deployed as the TGA Facebook profile background – back when facebook allowed videos as backgrounds, and placed as the premiere video on the TGA youtube channel and used as an intro for TGA executives at public speaking events to introduce themselves and the organisation to audiences it has been one of the most successful videos created at the department.

The results:
With over 13,000 views on youtube alone and seen by thousands of people on facebook for 2-3 years it has been a highly successful video for the department.
