A spin-off from the highly successful Getting settled: Women refugees in Australia brochure, Getting Settled shares the stories of women refugees who have found refuge in Australia on a 204 subclass visa.
Australia is one of only three countries in the world that offers a visa that specifically caters to women at risk of harm. This publication shares the stories of some truly remarkable and heroic women who have escaped war zones, torture, abuse and more to find safe haven in Australia.
My role in the creation of this publication was to provide Creative direction to ensure that the creative integrity of the original product remained interwoven throught the design of this publication. Additionally I managed the print procurement, printing quality assurance. Additionally I took responsibility of the distribution and logistics strategy for the project as it was distributed to key Australian consulates and embassies around the world.
The result was that the 20,000 print run of the publication was fully exhausted within three months of release.
